Nicole Myers –
Both styles of oven mitts are very heat resistant and show no evidence of wear and tear after multiple uses. The color remains vibrant as well.
Craig’s Garage –
They are a little tight on my XL man hands but I can fit into them and have enough control to remove items from the oven. Did not feel any heat so appear to work, my son fits them easier as he has smaller hands, and most women have smaller hands than I do so they would have no issues as well.
I did not realize the pot holders were just like traditional oven pads, was hoping they were thermal lined, but this is fine, then can sit under a pot sometime, or be used to lift up my pots n pans off the stovetop, or lift lids off since most now have metal handles on the pots-pans-lids when back in the day they were all some heat resistant product anyone could touch without need for such an item. I am so used to cooking that still burning my hands on the oven top so keeping those near hopefully I learn to use them.
These were higher rated than other gloves in same pricerange and this summer when grilling outdoors on my open pit and gas grill, they will be put to the test. So far happy with oven performance.
Side note, both items have loops to hang these up, have magnetic hooks that can mount on stove n fridge and these hang nicely on that type of hook.
JSL Salt Lake City –
I was hoping the hot pads would be lined with silicone but I only realized that only the mitts had that lining, so I was a little disappointed. I haven’t used the mitts because I really don’t need them that much.
Earth Warrior –
Here are some key points in my experience with this product:
– very good heat resistance: I haven’t felt any heat at all on my hand through the gloves
– non slip grip
– easy to clean silicone
– very thick but also a little bulky which makes it hard for me to pick some things up
– inside of the glove is soft but also kind of slippery
– based on how these perform for me, I think these maybe a little too large for my hands (I have small hands)
– not sure why there is a large slit down the side but it doesn’t help them stay on my hands
Overall they do work well, but bulky and don’t stay on my hands well, I do not recommend if you have small hands.
Heidi Bunch –
These fit perfectly and are exactly adorable described.
Henry A. Munford –
It works to keep heat away but it can be hard to grasp things.
Steve –
This pot holder/oven mitt set from KLEX is a great starter (or replacement) set for you or for a gift idea. Durable, long, and ready for the heat, this set of gloves and pads meets all our needs. We like the texture of the grips and the size especially. Priced right, this is a very nice and practical gift idea.
Sean O’Kane –
My kitchen is not the warmest so I often am wearing a sweatshirt. Other gloves with tight cuffs were problematic. These are excellent because I can get my hands all the way in when wearing bulky clothes!
James Duckett –
I don’t know if there is a break-in period for these or not, but so far these have been pretty stiff, making it hard to fine-tune how I grab hot items (like the slots of a pan or something). It’s like trying to pick up something by folding a piece of cardboard around it. I hope it loosens up with more use like the ones I replaced these with.
The really wide slit make getting my (big) hands in there quite easily. Very comfortable overall. Best of all, is that it does a phenomenal job of blocking the heat when pulling out pans and dishes from the oven. A+ in that regard.
Tiger Frank –
Bought these to help with my cast iron pan . They work great
RunningWolfTx –
Bought these for the wife’s Birthday, she loves them and they are very well insulated. The silicone part give you a positive grip also.
AME –
Mitts are great roomy
Pot holders are small and shrunk after washing them. Otherwise OK.
Marie –
Good quality, but the oven mitt was too large for my size S-M ladies hand.
Josh Chambers –
Replaced some old oven mitts with these. Love the color and they protect you from hot things well!
DTL –
Excellent heat protection but far too stiff to easily grasp oven trays. Work ok with double handled Dutch ovens or cast iron pots & pans with large handles. I’ll replace these with a more conventional pair.
WILLMER G –
Me encanto la textura y la calidad de los materiales
Jennifer adamski –
They fit good, the inside is really soft and even with using them in a restaurant handling hot pans all day they still protect it hand. It’s the best oven mitt I’ve ever used
Jeannine –
These potholders are great! Safe up to 932 degrees! No more fear of burning my hands like with my old cheap ones. Love the piece of mind.
C. Chen –
I used to think all Oven Mitts were the same. Between the really old ones my family had and the one I bought from IKEA many years ago for a dollar, I could never imagine spending more on them. Sure, when I used those you could feel the heat leaking through the thin materials, and if you held things longer than like 40 seconds they would get too hot to hold, but I thought all oven mitts were like that. Eventually they straight up got burned holes in them after some years, even cooking nothing hotter than your usual cakes, oven bakes, cookies and what not.
Anyway, I recently bought a special convection oven that goes all the way to 700 degrees, and I looked at the normal heat ratings for your average oven mitt and realized they wouldn’t be able to handle that kind of heat, so I sprung for these high heat oven mitts, expecting them to be like your normal oven mitt, just hopefully that these wouldn’t get a hole melted in them at higher temperatures. But I was really pleasantly surprised with these. Even touching a very hot 600 degree pan with these oven mitts on and you can barely feel the heat inside the glove. They’re nice and thick. Also for those who are not the cleanest in the kitchen, I love how easy they are to wash. For the most part, you can rinse stuff off them straight in the sink, and stuff comes straight off.
My only complaint about these oven mitts is that they are large and stiff and it can be hard to pick up small things in them, and they’re one size fits all. I have small hands myself, so they’re huge on me. But between the grippy silicone surface and their natural stiffness, I actually have no trouble using them to put in or take out pans from an oven, and I can hold a pair of tongs with some effort, although it’s a little tricky. But all in all, as someone who has gotten burned from using cheap oven mitts and pot holders, I’m thrilled I don’t have to worry about burning myself with these mitts and I am very glad I bought these. They have been holding up great with use and I think they will last a long time.
Madelyn –
?Has rubber on the palm parts, I held them for a while and my hands didn’t get warm, my boyfriend’s big hands fit in it but mine do is well and it doesn’t feel too big, I’d say it’s really good value for your money, and the color is very nice.
Robin –
I love them
Oregon Baker –
Have used this brand oven mitt @ a B& B, so got a set for my daughter. She really likes them &I have enjoyed them as well when baking at her place.
Dawn B. –
The color is perfect and they are so well made I feel they will last forever. I will buy some for everyone on my Christmas list!
Kim –
These work amazing! I broil and cook with a cast iron skillet a lot. Other oven mitts I would feel the heat almost instantly, these are amazing!
Andrew –
No burns used daily with no issues
Paul H. Hodges –
Very happy with the quality of these and the full coverage protection!
McKelly39 –
Love these. Easy to throw in the washer.
Carter –
LOVE these. So sturdy, waterproof, heatproof, and wash well. Best mit I have owned
Nana A –
They say, heavy is the head that wears the crown. The tiara’s flattering soft pink color dazzles! My daughter and I celebrated The King’s Coronation…I got a crown for my son, he’s strong, like a king.
Alene S. –
Iam shirt and there’s gloves cover more of my firearms love thrm
Nancy –
This is the 4th set of oven mitts that I’ve bought in the last couple of years. 2 cute cloth ones that wore out quickly and 1 set of plastic that is fine, but I never use, because I hate the feel of it. Then I found these and they solved everyone’s issues. They are long enough for grilling, heat resistant enough for pizza and broiling and they feel so nice inside! Comfy and washable, winner, winner! I have no complaints at all. I can’t imagine how you’d be sorry you bought them.
Bradley Hays –
I’ve been using these for a couple of months now and they are great. I make pizza at home using a stone with the oven set to 550. I regularly grab the stone with the mitts and I do not feel any heat transferring. Excellent.
D –
I got tired of buying cheap cute cloth oven mits, you know the ones from dollar general with cute prints on them that would match your decor, then fall apart in a few months or where you had to get something hot from the oven in under two seconds because if you held it too long your fingers would get burnt thought the cloth. Yeah, I was tired of it. So since these were rated so well on being heat resistant, easy to clean and durable, I finally spent the money to buy them. OMG they are even better than advertised, I love the super soft quilted interior, the rubbery slip resistant exterior, the fact that the mit goes almost up to my elbow so I don’t have to worry about my forearms getting accidentally burnt. And the fact that you can hold something hot for as long as you need. So freaking awesome, I love these oven mits so much! 🙂 <3
Devin Maldonado –
Love these. They were exactly what I was looking for and the price wasn’t too bad either. Super soft on the inside and super easy to get on and off. Definitely recommend these!
Marilyn S. –
These certainly do work to protect your hands and forearms. But they are quite bulky and difficult to use to pick things up. Won’t send them back – nothing wrong with them, but won’t order again, either.
L –
They are as promised!
David Hill –
gloves and the pot holders work well
Adam F –
Great oven mitt, I can hold a casserole dish out of a 450 degree oven with no problem for atleast 1 to 2 minutes, with no heat radiating to my hands.
EK –
Mitts are stiff and big and bulky, which makes them unusable. Pot holders are also too stiff and not flexible.
Armando Duran –
Use this all the time. No more grabbing towels that do not protect well.
HLW –
These are so awesome! The inside is very soft. The outside has gripping power. I just love them!!
Mary Raz –
These are well-made, sturdy oven mitts, with 2 bonus pot holders. Protect against heat effectively.
Al –
Good quality
Paige Reid –
Washes well. Holds up. Is totally heat resistant and comfortable as well
Ozzy’sMom –
Nice for outdoor grilling. Too big and stiff for kitchen.
Kimmie Marie –
A little bulky but I have piece of mind I’m not gonna burn myself any more… So far they work amazing.
Shabeena sookhdeo –
On the inside is so soft and the outside has silicone protection. The color is very bright blue…Love it
Helen J ODonnell –
I don’t know why these even came up in my search. I searched for “Sage Bed Bath and Beyond Oven Mitts and Potholders.” Yet they are none of these things. The pot holders are too small (7″ x 7″) – they are sized for a child’s hands. And the oven mitts are too large – they are sized for a man’s hands. I can’t hold my pots and pans In either of them. Neither of them are made for a woman’s size normal hands. The oven mitts are actually barbeque mitts, as they come up to my elbows, which is way more than I need for the oven. They don’t work with anything I have with long sleeves. Also, the color is dark green, not sage. So, I don’t like much about them. But I did order them and I waited too long for them to come. So they won’t be going back. Now I’m stuck with them, but I won’t order again.
D. K. Repulski –
I recently submitted a mistaken review meant for the seller of a WOK that never arrived, and had been returned to seller for damage in shipping by the freight company. My review accidetally gave this oven mitt and hot pad set a one star AWFUL. Should have given this mitts set a 5 star. Good quality. Good seller. Fast shipment. As described. Sorry for the error.
Lerissa –
I’m just a messy cook to begin with, so I was constantly washing my oven mitts in the laundry. These are so easy to rinse off. They are durable, super soft on the inside, and amazingly heat resistant. I love that there are two of them and they are not left/right specific. I trust these and would recommend them.
JSKenterprise (L.B) –
Looks good and works good.
Alicia –
Love the safety and durability. They are thick and large, so a little clunky
Donna Cronce –
The mitts are fine, but the pot holders were a bit smaller than I would have liked and super stiff. I threw them in the wash thinking I could soften them up some. Silly me didn’t read the wash instructions. THESE POTHOLDERS ARE HAND WASH ONLY! They are now maybe 4 in square. Who hand washes potholders?
Kindle Customer –
gloves are great to use very heat resistant great arm protection
Kathryn –
Simple and does the trick. Highly recommend for the price.
carrie –
I bought these for my 82 year old Dad that loves to cook twice a day. He has really thin skin and even brushing up against the wall can cause his skin to tear. I gave these to him the morning of Christmas Eve when he was making 3 quiches, a ham stuffing a casserole and lots of other food for Christmas brunch then dinner. He said the soft inside was gentle against his skin while the outside was so no slip at the same time. He said he never felt the heat from the cast iron skillet he took out of the oven on broil. Best gift ever. He said.
Christine Meleg –
Easy to use, keeps my hands safe and because of arthritis I can easily fold them over hot pot handles. Haven’t washed them yet , but I doubt that will be a problem.
michele p. –
Love you oven mitts!
I bake sourdough bread in a 500 degree dutch oven, and it used to melt my pot holders. Klex is the best! 5 stars, I am recommend these to everybody.
Thanks
Juje –
I like the product. They are satisfactory in all areas, but they are a little stiff for easily handling hot objects.
MISTERRR –
The gloves/mitts are as expected. Size can be a slight issue but they do give the feel of comfort and protection. Pot holders are, so-so and dont quite have the same feel as the mitts, they are rather thin, but they have worked but I dont feel confident on using it to handle hot things with it longer than 20 seconds. So far both are looking well made and durable.
Laura O’Shea –
Very good product
Stephanie –
Received our order today, and a hook on the oven mitt is defective. Which why we were in need of new oven mitts in the first place.
Vale –
Attractive color, nice material and they look like they’ll last.
Thank you TJ –
Love the color and the heavy duty feel of them!
Sheila Kilpatrick –
Love the color and thickness of the hand mitts. You can use either one when putting them on.
Michele R Morris –
?They look great, well made and are very thick!
Woody62 –
Very good purchase & product! Very pleased!
Mollymer –
I do like these very much. They’re longer than most mitts so very helpful to protect further up your arm when placing or removing items in the oven, also protect from the heat when grilling though I wouldn’t get the silicone too close 😉 Try them, they are the best I’ve had in quite some time! Great price too so, win win eh?
pmontgomery –
The thumb part is not flexible enough to get a good grasp on items like baking pans or casserole dishes. Tis could cause a bad spill. Not ideal.
Edward Haigh –
Hard to use
Mombie –
These gloves definitely protect your hands from heat (which is their primary function). I previously had Kitchenaid oven mitts that were the only ones to offer this level of insulation. I would say that heat wise, these are BETTER than Kitchenaid.
The only reason this is getting 4 instead of 5 stars is the flexibility of the mitt itself. The entire end is silicone, which is not the most tactile friendly material for gripping and grabbing. The Kitchenaid mitt was shaped more like a sock puppet with silicone in only the palm area, which was easier to manipulate.
These gloves however are amazing at protecting your hands from high temperatures and I highly recommend them to everyone!
Ng –
Good thick quality
Carol M. –
Finally, a pair of these longer grilling gloves that fit someone with large hands and wrists! The glove is perfect for my large hands, fitting close enough in the mitten that I don’t have a ton of extra mit flopping around. I have big wrists too, and these go on easily, and up my arm. I wear a large Samsung smart watch, and the arm sleeve goes on fine on that wrist too. Making it so I don’t have to remove my watch. I haven’t needed them yet for the smoker, but they appear to be a nice quality fabric, and they’re soft on the inside.
Lauracolemusic –
Great quality and they work as expected! I love the silicone. It makes for easy cleaning if you spill something. Heat resistance is a 10/10. Highly reccomend!
pupy –
its very goood. its a bit hard to grip things with sometimes though
Nancy –
They seem like good quality but they are huge!
Kelly Elder –
These replaced an ACTUAL set of firemen gloves we had! They are amazing.
Sue Short –
These mitts are enormous!!!
The silicone portion is not flexible which makes it near impossible to pick anything up. Very clumsy. I returned them.
Deb –
It was time to replace my 20+ year old oven mitts that were more decorative than protective. These oven mitts are “Rambo Style”….so comfy, so protective! Love these babies!!!
Teri Thomson –
Perfect mitts
angela d –
These oven mitts are gigantic. Way too big for residential use. I needed the pot holders so I kept the items and use the oven mitts for outside by the grill.
LAR –
Exactly as discribed
Mary Layne Brown –
We got these as a wedding gift and they are the best I have ever used.
Thomas K. –
Just received item today, 06/15/2022. Took out of packing loook to be good quality, until… I wanted to wash them before the first use, following the washing instructions on the tag for the mittens .I turned them inside out , one glove look good. The second one the liner had a seam that was not sewn.
klee –
These oven mitts works great. I have used them to carry anything and everything hot in my kitchen with ease. They are very comfortable to wear too. The rubber design is great, because I am able to lift stuff in and out of steaming hot pots.
overcomeraz –
No complaints they do what they are meant to do.
Renee –
the color is bright and beautiful, but that is all all of the positive that i can say at this time.
GGM –
These silicone oven mitts made my cooking much better, because I could reach into the oven or stove top without fear of being burned. Just don’t leave it in the fire.
imanetter2 –
I like that they are past the wrists so they protect your arm farther up.
Mary Ellen Pempkowski –
Love these mits!
NiMiZ –
the long “sleeve” is very helpful in the oven
KRIS GOLD –
Oven mitts are a little bit stiff brand new but make up for it with grip ripples. There hasn’t been any heat transfer I have noticed to make it through either set.
shira margolis –
Super thick and heat resistant, however not very comfortable due to thickness. Made well. Over all recommended product.
Ierol –
I like the set a lot but the gloves are so big and stiff. It is hard to get things out of my little oven. But I like enough to make them work. So not looking to replace.
Tracy –
Well made, thick ,vibrant color and washes well.
Donald Robinson –
Exactly as I wanted. Exactly what I expected.
Peacepg –
Long enough to protect forearms which was the goal.
Christine Bristow –
Unbelievably happy with these mitts. They are absolutely EPIC!!!
Mary Jane B. Gali –
Comfortable to use
Melisa Otte –
Love these. For the price the durability is perfect. I like how they are long and are comfortable
Roy –
Like the color
Julie Clark –
These oven mitts/pads are comfortable! We use them in a service kitchen and the long style works great for large pans in high temperatures. Highly recommend!
Laura –
They work very well for right and left handed people. It has the outer heat resistant patch on both sides.
Glenda Roland –
Do not like. Too thick, no tactile sense. Closed on 1 side so don’t burn arm, however open on other side so still burn arm
K. Reed –
Okay, so first off, the 4-star “comfort” rating may be misleading. They are very heavy duty, and go almost all the way up to my elbows, so that’s why there’s less “comfort” than cheap ones that only go past your wrist.
These are hardcore baking GAUNTLETS. I will NEVER burn myself again, and probably won’t have to purchase another pair for a million years. They’re built very well, they are extremely protective, and I have no complaints — they definitely do the job.
Lizzie –
These are heavy duty gloves. It is difficult to pick up objects with them. But they are good for holding hot items.
Sam Bara –
Protects your hands from burning. Good quality
Valerie P –
Great product for the price
Michael J Springer –
great seller and a great item to have in the kitchen when you need it!
Mary Jo Leftridge –
They were too padded. Made it hard to get a hold of pans. I would have returned them but waited to long. Would not recommend them,
Christine Keller –
I ordered to go with my new green kitchen decor. Loved the color but the mittens were so huge around the arms i couldnt use them. I gave the whole set away.
Cindy Smiley –
Love these. Makes great gift too.
Bonnie White –
The left-right interchangeable mitts are so convenient. They do what they are supposed to do to protect arms and hands. The pads are attractive and do a great job. Good quality and good looks — a good combination!
S. E. Bradford –
These are nice n thick and go right up to the elbow. It is supposed to be good to like 900 degrees F! Good value with the potholders included.
James3R –
Nice product
