This is a very interesting take on a water bowl. The fountain is excellent and has great water flow. It gets the attention of my dogs and they really like the running water. Most recirculating water bowls have a very slow fountain and water flow – not this one!
The “bowl” area where the water pools is very shallow, so it’s not like a deep dish of water. It’s more of a flat area and the water pools underneath it. There are several slots around the unit top for the water to flow back into the bottom to recirculate and come back through the fountain. My dogs actually like it. It’s like they’re cleaning the unit because their tongues touch the bottom. The love the water flowing off of the fountain and that’s where they drink the most.
The light is pretty bright, so you might want to keep in a room that you won’t see when you sleep.
Great water fountain. Worth the price, great to filter the water, great water movement and doesn’t have to be filled every 2 hours.

I have had this pet water fountain for a while now. The pump is very quiet, and the night light is pretty cool. I gave 4 stars for assembly because after washing the parts before using, to insert the filter holder onto the top was confusing on which way to reinsert. Another reason for the 4-star rating on assembly is the max fill line is way too high when using the filter. I filled it to the max line and put the top on and it would not seat because there was too much water. I had to scoop out several cups of water to get it to a level where the top would seat properly. When using the filter, the max fill is halfway between the middle fill line and max. Be sure to always keep enough water to fully cover the pump. The noise will let you know if you have let it get too low. The bowl holds a lot of water so it would be hard to let the pump get compromised. I have a cat and small dog, so I have had no issues with running low on water. As for cleaning, the water flows onto the lid, then through the filter back into the bowl. When the pump is shut off the water stays on the lid which has to be dumped back into the bowl. There is the filter, the pump, the tube from the pump to the spout, the bowl and the lid all of which have to be cleaned and reassembled. The time it takes to clean it is worth for me, because I clean and fill it and my animals have fresh water for days without having to fill the bowl. I am happy with this water fountain.

This is a very nice pet fountain and at almost 2 gallons, it’s also a very nice size. It is almost completely silent and big enough for large dogs but also small enough for the larger small dogs and medium dogs. I like the built in carry handles for the base of the unit for when you need to clean it out and the fact that it came with the USB adapter for the wall is just amazing as most things anymore do not. The cord also has a switch on it so that you can turn the tank light on and off and I could see this being very handy if you have this in an area you want to be completely dark at times. The only con that I have is that the tank light isn’t as effective as other models. The point of it is to light up the water so that you can easily read the water level on the side of the base with the clear water level gauge. The problem is the angle of the light and the brightness of it actually make the whole tank glow making it difficult to tell where the water level is looking at the clear gauge. If you look off to the side in the darker area, it is much easier to see the level. Overall, still a wonderful unit though!

This water fountain is great, especially if you have cats. We have two and we don’t worry about their water needs when we are away for a few days. The large water capacity and the filtration system makes this the right tool we needed. No worries if you have any “scary” cats. This device is virtually noiseless, so it won’t frighten or alarm you animal.

I got this for my dog as I was just tired of constantly filling up his water bowl and let me tell you, this is wonderful. It was easy to put together and comes with 3 extra filters for everything you need as well as extra non slip “feet”. My dog loves it and the best part is that it is true when stating it holds 7 liters of water.

I like the blue nightlight, it’s soft and not invasive. Good product! It’s quiet and will emit a soft hum when it needs water.

This bowl works well, holds lots of water, the pump is exceedingly quiet. My husband is especially annoyed by noise and this bowl water pump runs in his office and perfectly fine. The only draw back is that figuring out how to get the lid on at first is fiddly. The rubber hose that runs between the top and the pump just sits loosely between the lid and pump and you have to guide the tube and connector ports into place while lowering the lid into the base which is awkward. Further making it tricky is that if you place the pump turned so that the cord is closest to the accessible side of the bowl, the holes and rubber tube don’t line up and the instructions don’t instruct you to do this, but if you turn the pump around in the opposite direction, although the cord has to travel further to reach the exit groove between the lid and tank, only then the rubber hose and water connector ports line up. Once you figure this out, it’s not a big deal, but it’s not very obvious that you need to turn the pump so that it sits in the tank in the opposite direction. I mean, it would be nice if the instructions explained this, but they don’t. The only thing to guide you is there is an extra little “v” in the bottom of the water pump and you are just supposed to know that it’s somehow indicative to how the pump sits in the tank. Not very obvious. Other than that, it works well and comes with extra filters.

The little blue light inside is supposed to help you see how low the water level is, but with the dark shade of the fountain, it’s not easy to view.
